This absolutely breathtaking 1966 Porsche Typ 906 Carrera Competition Coupé has just been sold for $898,000 at Bonhams‘ Quail Lodge auction in Carmel, California. Produced for the 1966 season of World Championship for Makes racing, the 906, more familiarly known in period as the Carrera 6, became the last street-legal racing car to be produced by Porsche and one of its most successful.
