Fisherman, McPherson Wright recently landed a fish that may be heading into the world record books.
Mr. Wright said that normally one expects “big fish to eat down the small fish”, but this hungry little fish broke that rule in a big way.
While fishing in about 1,400 feet of water off the South Coast of Grand Cayman, Mr. Wright’s attention was caught by an object that was floating on the surface nearby. He motored over to investigate and picked up a dead fish that simply amazed him. It is now also astonishing scientists!
In the belly of the fish was another fish, and this one was much, much bigger. In fact, when it was measured it was determined that the fish he picked up had eaten a snake mackerel that was more than four times its own length.

Robber Gets Stuck In Air Shaft
A robber trying to help himself to convenience store goods instead ended up crying for help after geting stuck in an air shaft for 10 hours.
Jeffery Mumani, 25, removed an air conditioning cover at a CVS store Monday night and tried to enter the store via the shaft but became trapped, Marion County Sheriff’s Capt. James Pogue said. He began calling for help about 8 a.m. Tuesday.
“I heard a cat in the thing. I was trying to chase the cat,” Mumani told the Ocala Star-Banner. He denied attempting to steal prescription drugs. “No, sir, it’s a feline cat - a little animal.”

A tiny Canadian political party that promotes sexual freedom complained in Federal Court Monday it was discriminated against by the country’s postal service.
The Sex Party is upset that Canada Post refused to distribute a flyer during the 2006 federal election that outlined the group’s philosophy, after deeming some its contents to be pornographic.

Fisherman Catches Record 844 Pound Shark
Six friends went to a fishing tournament looking to catch some grouper. They caught an 844-pound shark instead.
The fight by Adlee Bruner and friends to pull the 11-foot mako shark onto the boat from the Gulf of Mexico took more than an hour on Saturday. But when they made it back to land, it was a record for the decades-old Destin Fishing Rodeo.

The study, reported in the Archives of Internal Medicine, found the stress and anxiety of hostile, angry relationships can boost the risk of developing heart disease. Chances of a heart attack or chest pain rose by 34 percent compared to people on good terms with a spouse or partner.
“A person’s heart condition seems to be influenced by negative intimate relationships,” researchers wrote. “We showed that the negative aspects of close relationships...are associated with coronary heart disease.”

The explosion could surpass the famous Tunguska explosion of June 30, 1908, which affected a 2,150 square km area of Russia felling over 80 million trees in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Siberia.
