Two fast food addicts celebrated their marriage with their dream wedding cake - a 42lb cheeseburger.
Tom and Kerry’ huge burger was nearly half a metre wide and weighed the equivalent of about 100 quarter pounders.
It was the highlight of the couple’s wedding reception which was held at Zak’s American diner in Norwich.
Firefighter Tom, said: “Not only did I get to marry the woman of my dreams but I also got to have the burger of my dreams in the same day.”

Dentist Breaks Into Woman's Home To Steal Her Teeth
A woman suffered the freak nightmare of mouth surgery after her dentist burst into her home and yanked out her teeth.
The German dentist is now under investigation for assault and theft after performing the surgury because the woman had not paid him.
According to police, the dentist form Bavarian town of Neu-Ulm barged into the womans house, tied her up, forced her mouth open and yanked out the two dental bridges that he had previously put in.
The work that he had perviously perfomed on the 35-year-old woman came to £320, but after her company’s insurance refused to settle the bill, he took matters into his own hands.

A US cyclist was knocked down by a car and a train in separate accidents within six hours of each other.
Unlucky Robert Evans, 46, from Boulder, Colorado, was first hit by a car in a hit-and-run incident. Mr Evans was taken to hospital but later released, reports Metro.
He was on his way back to town when he was hit by a train while walking his bicycle across a railroad bridge.
He was later found in a creek and again taken to hospital, but his injuries were not life-threatening. To add to his woes, Evans faces a ticket from police for trespassing on the rail bridge which is not open to pedestrians.

Man Sues Doctors After Penis Is Cut Off
A man who woke up from a circumcision procedure to discover his penis had been cut off is suing doctors. Philip Seaton went to be circumcised at a hospital in Louisville, but awoke to find his penis had been amputated.
He has just filed a lawsuit against the doctor who performed the procedure and the anesthetist, claiming mental anguish and pain. He also said he has lost the enjoyment of life, according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit says doctors only received consent to perform a circumcision and that Seaton did not consent to his penis being removed.
Kevin George, Seaton’s lawyer, said the organ was cut off after cancer was found, but that doctors only had consent to remove the foreskin.

Two terrestrial planets orbiting a mature sun-like star some 300 light-years from Earth recently suffered a violent collision, astronomers at UCLA, Tennessee State University and the California Institute of Technology will report in a December issue of the Astrophysical Journal.
“It’s as if Earth and Venus collided with each other,” said Benjamin Zuckerman, UCLA professor of physics and astronomy and a co-author on the paper. “Astronomers have never seen anything like this before. Apparently, major catastrophic collisions can take place in a fully mature planetary system.”

Man Arrested For Stuffing Dead Animals In Lockers
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of stealing dead animals from a veterinary hospital morgue and stuffing them into empty lockers at a Bay Area high school.
Police say the man admitted that he took the bodies of two cats and a 25-pound dog from an unlocked freezer behind the VetCare Hospital in Dublin. He said he then put the dead animals in lockers at Dublin High School before classes started Aug. 25.
The man told police he thought it was a practical joke.
The man was arrested at his Pleasanton home Friday afternoon arrested on suspicion of grand theft, tampering with school property and improper disposal of animals.

Nsaba Buturo siad wearing miniskirts was equivalent to being naked.
“What’s wrong with a miniskirt? You can cause an accident because some of our people are weak mentally,” the BBC reported him saying.
“If you find a naked person you begin to concentrate on the make-up of that person and yet you are driving,” he said.

57-year-old Jim Litz was riding his bicycle to work in Missoula, Montana when he came over a rise and saw a 300-pound black bear right in front of him! The weight of the bear had cracked Litz’ helmet, and he had claw scratches over his torso.
Litz’s wife drove by soon after and took her husband to Community Medical Center, and he immediately called Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks to report the unusual collision. Game wardens told him they didn’t think the animal was seriously injured, but was more likely suffering from some bruised ribs - just like Litz.

Prehistoric Whales Had Legs and Tails, Wiggled Hips
An early whale had large back legs, a tail like a dog’s, and a hip-wiggling swimming style, according to a new fossil study.
The discovery helps pinpoint the advent of “modern” whale flukes to between 38 and 40 million years ago, scientists say.
Flukes are the two wide, flat triangular lobes on a whale’s back end and are made of skin and connective tissue, with bones in the middle.
Scientists have known whales evolved from semiaquatic, four-footed creatures with long, thin tails to today’s fully aquatic mammals with fluked tails, no back legs, and flippers instead of front legs.

Missing Cat Comes Back Nine Years Later
A happy cat owner has been reunited with her missing pussy - nine years after she wandered off from her family home.
Gilly Delaney was left distraught after hearing her beloved cat Dixie had been killed by a car in 1999.
So it came as a big surprise when RSPCA officers turned up on Mrs Delaney’s doorstep with her missing pet.

Scientists from Oregon State University and the Natural History Museum in London have announced the discovery of the oldest known fossil of a gecko, with body parts that are forever preserved in life-like form after 100 million years of being entombed in amber.
Due to the remarkable preservative power of being embalmed in amber, the tiny foot of this ancient lizard still shows the tiny “lamellae,” or sticky toe hairs, that to this day give modern geckos their unusual ability to cling to surfaces or run across a ceiling.
Research programs around the world have tried to mimic this bizarre adhesive capability, with limited success.

Israel’s High Rabbinical court has ruled against a man who sought to avoid paying a divorce settlement because his former wife stripped before his friends while they were married.
The court pointed out that the man had not objected to his wife’s behaviour at the time and that he had photographed her as she took off her clothes in front of his buddies, the English-language Jerusalem Post said on Wednesday.
The man later hung photos of his naked wife in their bedroom. Marriages and divorces are handled by religious courts in Israel.

Living With Humans Has Taught Dogs Morals
So, what have dogs learned from living with humans? Apparently morals and a sense of fairness.
During one study, dogs which held up a paw were rewarded with a food treat.
When a lone dog was asked to raise its paw but received no treat, the researchers found it begged for up to 30 minutes.
But when they tested two dogs together but rewarded only one, the dog which missed out soon stopped playing the game.
Dr Friederike Range, of the University of Vienna, who led the study, said: ‘Dogs show a strong aversion to inequity. I would prefer not to call it a sense of fairness, but others might.’

Li Guolin, a farmer in Yantou village, Kunming, says he’s been offered 36,000 yuan, nearly £3,000, for the bull.
