Severed Penis with Testicles on the Beach?

Wellington, South Africa - A beachcomber called police to report a grisly find while walking on Auckland’s Eastern Beach at the weekend - “what appeared to be a set of severed male genitalia, including penis and testicles”, as the police log recorded it.

In fact, the Dominion Post newspaper reported on Monday, the suspected male appendage was a form of marine life.

“Maybe seaweed, maybe some sort of anemone, but it was apparently very realistic,” police spokesperson Andrew Brill said…

Student Charged after Bringing Nails to School

An 11-year-old boy was arrested this week for carrying ten nails in his pocket at a Rock Hill middle school and charged with carrying an unlawful weapon.

Dianne McCray, assistant principal at Rawlinson Road Middle School, asked the child Wednesday what was jingling in his pocket and the student gave her the 3.5” long nails.

A school resource officer arrested him. His father picked him up and he was not taken to the police station.

The father said the nails were left in his pocket after a Boy Scout outing. He says it is ridiculous that his son faces an unlawful weapon charge. He says the boy threatened no one.

Teenagers Arrested for Pouring Boiling Water on Man

FORT MORGAN, Colo. - Three Fort Morgan residents could face multiple felony charges after allegedly robbing a 45-year-old man and throwing boiling water on him several times.

Police have arrested 26-year-old Tanya Marie Espinoza, 19-year-old Fen Alex “Fred” Panameno and a 17-year-old boy in connection with Monday’s attack.

The victim says Panameno and the juvenile pulled him into an apartment that night.

The trio then allegedly demanded money, beat him repeatedly and poured boiling water on him.

He suffered severe burns on his back, face and neck, and is being treated at a Greeley hospital burn unit.

All three suspects face possible charges of robbery, assault and kidnapping.

They’re being held without bond.

Oral Sex Caused Car Crash

Police in Romania were shocked to find a car crash was caused because a couple were having oral sex while driving.

The driver lost control on a crowded road in Craiova, Dolj county, and collided with an oncoming car, reports Editie Speciala newspaper.

The young man, whose identity was not revealed, admitted to police that he was having a “hell of a time” at the time of the crash.

Police said the couple were still in their car, fully naked, when officers reached the scene of the accident. Read full story

Woman Bank Robber with Toy Gun Killed

A bank robber once dubbed “Cowboy Bob” because of her bearded male disguise was fatally shot by police in Dallas after holding up a bank, fleeing police in a recreational vehicle and pulling a toy gun that officers thought was real.

Peggy Jo Tallas, 60, stopped the RV in a residential area two miles from the bank in Tyler in northeast Texas, police spokesman Don Martin said. She was not in disguise, although a number of wigs and hats were later found in the vehicle.

Officers were trying to persuade her to surrender when she pulled what appeared to be a revolver, prompting four officers to open fire, Martin said.

Tallas was convicted of three counts of bank robbery in the early 1990s, Martin said. In what a judge at the time called “one of the most unusual cases I’ve ever seen,” Tallas eluded authorities by posing as a Western-styled man, complete with fake beard, cowboy hat, sunglasses and cowboy duds.

Woman Gets 20 Years for Staging Fake Death

GEORGETOWN, Texas - A woman who helped her husband dig up a corpse and use it to fake his death in a fiery staged car accident was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison.

A jury sentenced Molly Daniels after she pleaded guilty to insurance fraud and hindering apprehension. She was also fined $10,000.

“This was a ghoulish, horrific crime,” said prosecutor Jane Starnes. “I think it is unfortunate she could only get 20 years.”

Officials said the body of an 81-year-old person was used in the fake death June 18, before husband Clayton Wayne Daniels was scheduled to report to jail for failing to report to his probation officer. He had been on probation for sexually assaulting a girl.
