The corpses stored at the hotel are placed in refrigerated coffins that cost about 12,000 yen (approx. $157). They lay there until an opening is available at one of the overworked crematoriums in the city. Apparently, entry into the business is not all that difficult with the absence of mandatory qualifications or licenses.

100-Year-Old Dear Santa Letter Found Up Chimney

It may have been slightly scorched over the years but a letter to Santa written 100 years ago, which was later discovered in a Dublin fireplace, has the magic of Christmas written all over it. On Christmas Eve 1911, a brother and sister, who signed their names, ‘A or H Howard’, penned their personally designed letter to Santa with their requests for gifts and a good luck message at their home in Oaklands Terrace, Terenure in Dublin.
Man Wins Then Crashes $380,000 Lamborghini

Dopp, a resident of Santaquin, Utah, won a lime green Murcielago Roadster worth $380,000 at a giveaway contest held by Maverick store. Dopp was apparently enjoying his new car, taking friends and family on joy rides. On the outskirts of his town, he took a curve at 40-50 mph, which caused the vehicle to start spinning after it hit loose gravel or ice. After crashing through a few fence posts, it finally came to rest in the field.

Scientists have discovered a range of health complaints including coughing, wheezing, lethargy and insomnia can be attributed to the festive centrepiece. The condition, known as the Christmas Tree Syndrome, is caused from mould spores and was discovered by a team from Upstate Medical University in New York.

Despite being a known attraction of Jamestown, lit at night, not every tourist can climb its 699 steps. Not only because the steps are somewhat high but also because in some places the staircase lacks railings, which makes it difficult for some people to keep balance and look down.
