Hippo Bites Woman To Death
A female hippopotamus attacked and killed a woman who was photographing her calf in South Africa’s famed Kruger National Park. Annetjie Mienie, of Johannesburg, was bitten in the stomach and died while being rushed to hospital, police spokeswoman Mary Gama told the domestic news agency SAPA.
