Women’s Prisons In Turkey

In the 370 prisons in Turkey is 126 000 prisoners. Half of them were convicted or awaiting sentencing. Zaman columnist Nuriye Akman visited one of the zones in which there are women, and held them for two days. It is believed that the prison in Sindzhane is the most spacious, most organized, best in terms of respecting the rights of convicts place of detention in the world.
