Weird statue ...

2. This statue is part of about 600 statues in
   bronze, granit and iron in a park in Oslo, Norway
   called Vigelandsparken or Frognerparken
   (The Vigelands Park)
   Its a theme about human life,
   from birth till death..
   The statue you got in that picture is
   not at all the best of them..

   The most famous one is called Sinnataggen and
   is a small angry (sinna means angry) boy.
   You’ve probably seen a picture of it, either
   on ostcards or some commersials from Oslo, Norway
   The greatests however is the Monolit which is
   17 meters high and consists of ALL the people
   portrayed in the statues everywhere across
   the park, trying to climb up to the top.

   
   Everything made in this park was planned,
   and made by a man called Gustav Vigeland.
   It took him 40 years to plan, portray and make
   all the statues and ornaments..
   Crafters of course moulded and crafted the statues
   and other workers placed them on location,
   but Vigeland told them where, and also how,
   as well as made the actual forms for the statues.

   And what a planning it was..
   The symmetry, as well as the chaos in the
   park is actually awesome to say the least..
   This is something you only will realize if you
   actually went and visited this park.

   The location of the park
   (geologically AND geographically in oslo)
   as well as the location of everything in the park
   from the front gate, the looks of the gate,
   the symmetry, what it looks like depending
   on where you stand in the park and so on,
   was EXTREMELY carefully planned and measured.
   even the geologically AND geographically
   location of the park in Oslo as well as in
   Norway (if you look at a map) has a deeper
   meaning, and it all is a plan about the main
   theme, human life from birth till death.

   Simply do an image search for
   “vigelandsparken” in google
   or any other search engine,
   and you will find out alot more
   about the park, as well as see alot
   more photos from the park :o)

   At least doing that search is worth it,
   if your not planning to visit it,
   you probably wont regret visiting,
   and sertainly not searching :oD
