German Leader Merkel Says Women Bad Parkers

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has admitted she has trouble parking a car and would prefer driving something small to make it less of an ordeal.

“As a private person, if I had a lot of money, I’d buy a Mini,” Merkel was quoted telling car industry leaders recently in candid remarks from the German leader who rarely talks about her personal life.

“In other words, I’m the incarnation of all those cliches. Because women are bad at parking cars I need a small car,” Merkel was quoted in Bild am Sonntag newspaper saying - comments a government spokesman confirmed on Monday. Read Full Story
