Japanese men begging older women to be their "mommies"
Scores of coddled young Japanese men drenched in maternal love are now flooding the Internet with ads begging older women to become their “mommies.”
Among those messages floating through cyberspace are many like these examples:
“I’m looking for a mommy in her 40s. I’m a 23-year-old company employee. I’ve always been spoiled, but young women today are too headstrong and they won’t spoil me at all. Would you clean my ears for me as I lay my head on your lap about once every week? I can pay about 10,000 yen a time.”
Or,
“I got a job and moved from Aomori to Tokyo in the spring. I’ve been a bit homesick recently and desperately need a gentle mommy. I don’t make much money, so would you be kind enough to look after me for 5,000 yen a time? Please make a meal for me at my apartment and then sleep next to me that night. I have got a girlfriend, but I’m too embarrassed to ask her to do these kinds of things.”
More and more Japanese guys are posting messages of this unbelievable ilk. But it’s a mutual urge, with lonely middle-aged women flocking to answer the call for cosseting.
Where normal personals from guys are lucky to attract even a single reply, those seeking mommies regularly average 10 answers or more from eager women.
