Gravedigger Arrested For Bringing His Work Home
A ghoulish gravedigger has been arrested in Fitchburg for allegedly stealing bones from a cemetery in a bizarre attempt to use the body parts as household ornaments.
Kenneth Chartland, 30, a gravedigger for St. Bernard Cemetery in Fitchburg, allegedly stole a skull and several body parts from a decomposing corpse and planned to use them around the house, according to WHDH’s Channel 7 News.
WHDH reported that Chartland used the skull as an ashtray and fashioned a pipe out of the other body parts he stole.
