Honest Shopper Makes Desperate Woman Smile
Buenos Aires - A man who found £2 000 in the pocket of a second-hand shirt in Buenos Aires tracked down the original owner.
The man, known only as Claudio, took the shirt back to the shop where he had bought it, reports Clarin newspaper.
Claudio told the shop assistant what had happened and, between them, the two tracked down the former owner of the shirt and returned the money.
The money’s rightful owner, Patricia Grieco, had sold the shirt, which had belonged to her late father, because she was short of cash.
She said: “With examples like this one I am convinced that we can achieve a better world.”
