Man Held In Sword Attack On Woman
A man attacked a woman in a South Side apartment with a samurai sword Friday morning, slashing her head and her back, Chicago Police said.
A 62-year-old man was in custody Friday but had not been charged, police said. He allegedly answered the door of the home in the 7800 block of South Ingleside when Chicago Police arrived at 1:30 a.m. to investigate the call of a person stabbed.
“Put the handcuffs on me,’’ he said to police, according to preliminary police reports. “I cut [her].’’
