Mother Sets Record With Birth Of 18th Child
Vilnius, Lithuania - A 44-year-old woman from western Lithuania has entered the Baltic state’s record books by giving birth to her 18th child, the Lietuvos Zinios daily reported on Friday.
Danute Bagociene’s latest child, her seventh son, weighed in at 3,7kg and is 28 years younger than her first-born, also a boy.
The new addition to the family is six years younger than one of Bagociene’s two grandchildren.
Bagociene, herself from a family of nine children, does not plan on having any more offspring, the daily said. Read full story
