Rare Whisky Sold For Over £46,000
A rare whisky bottle - a 55-year-old single malt - has set a new world record after it was sold for £46,000. The bottle of Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve sold for £46,850 at Bonhams in Edinburgh, topping the previous auction record of just under £30,000 for a bottle of single malt whisky.
