World's Tallest Structure
Kiichi Sumikawa, a Japanese architect, has just unveiled the design for the world tallest freestanding structure on land. This 610-meter (2001 ft) high radio and television transmission tower will be located in Tokyo, Japan, and is set to replace the Tokyo Tower built in 1958, as Tokyo’s architectural landmarks. Its estimated cost is around US $430 million.
